Our Wire EDM systems allow straight, tapered and inclined cuts on 4 axes, fully controlling the process to achieve high repeatability and dimensional stability in hardened and semi-finished parts.
Technical capabilities:
- Typical tolerances: up to ±10 µm
- Surface finishes: Ra 0.8 µm
- Minimum inner radii: 0.15 mm
- Microperforations and through cavities:< 1 mm²
- 4-axis cutting with taper and inclination up to 30° on the Z-axis.
This is a neutral process that does not transmit mechanical stress to the workpiece. Therefore, it is especially effective in applications where contour accuracy and dimensional stability are critical, resulting in tolerances within hundredths of a millimeter and micrometric surface finishes.
